Blog Post Day 8

Today Tucker and I finally did what we were made to do. After completing most of our logistical and legal tasks, we were finally able to detail some cars! We had a good breakfast and started with the interior of both of our vehicles. We vacuumed and wiped down the inside while also doing some work on the floor mats, headliners, and seats. We did a little of this last summer so it was kind of like reminiscing about the good old days. The scents of some of the chemicals brought me back to a time of scorching summer days and the old aroma of a 2004 Ford Ranger. It was really nice just to get back into the swing of things and get the muscle memory back for a full summer of detailing cars. We did this for a few hours and then planned out our day for tomorrow. We researched and made a list of supplies that we could have used today, and that we had been previously thinking about getting. Since we have a game tomorrow, it looks like we are going to have a rather short and concise day tomorrow. Today was a good day and I’m looking forward to getting back into our groove.
